Dr. Edward Romano Presents on Dental Practice Management at Paragon Program
Morristown, NJ — At the Spring Clinic Excellence Series from The Paragon Program, Dr. Edward Romano, a cosmetic dentist in New Jersey, is delivering several lectures on how to build an aesthetic dental practice. The event in Philadelphia took place on Friday May 11, 2012 at the Renaissance Philadelphia Airport, and the lecture in Indianapolis will occur Friday May 25, 2012 at the Indianapolis Marriott North. Dr. Romano says he has been looking forward to the opportunities and hopes they provide attendees with a unique perspective on practice management as well as tips to help cosmetic dentists improve the quality of their patients’ dental experience, whether it be through porcelain veneers in Indiana or Invisalign in New Jersey.
Offering a wide range of cosmetic and restorative services, Dr. Romano and his partner Dr. Matthew Vaccaro focus on treating patients at their New Jersey cosmetic dentistry practice, Aesthetic Smiles of New Jersey, with advanced, comfortable aesthetic procedures. Because of the rigorous involvement required in maintaining a dental practice, Dr. Romano says his lectures in Indianapolis and Philadelphia should strike a common chord with many of the dentists in attendance. He says by the end of the final lecture he hopes to have shed some light on how to thrive in the dynamic and competitive field of aesthetic dentistry by outlining certain tactics that can help practice’s facilitate their internal operations and improve patient care.
The topics of Dr. Romano’s lectures cover everything from dental marketing to his implementation of techniques such as sedation dentistry in New Jersey to help ease patient concerns. As dental and medical care presses farther into the digital world of social media and online advertising, he says staying up-to-date with the latest advancements is essential for keeping one’s practice running smoothly and efficiently. Dr. Romano also says he hopes to convey the importance of being proactive and considerate when putting strategies into action in order to ensure patient health, comfort, and satisfaction remain the top priority.
In the middle of the lecture series, Dr. Romano says he is reminded of his motivation to share his experiences as a cosmetic dentist and hopefully further promote the future of aesthetic practices. He adds that providing the highest quality patient care and making a difference in his patients’ lives has always been the top priority for him and it is a goal he is excited to impart upon dentists present at the programs.

New Jersey Cosmetic Dentists Discuss Sleep Apnea Treatment
Morristown, NJ — According to the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC), sleep apnea is a condition that affects nearly 18 million Americans, 10 million of which have not been diagnosed. Sleep apnea is an obstructive sleep disorder that can lead to more significant health-related complications such as heart attack and stroke, and AARC studies also show that people affected by sleep apnea stop breathing up to 30 times or more in one night. New Jersey cosmetic dentists Drs. Edward Romano and Matthew Vaccaro have announced the addition of related sleep dentistry treatment and an at-home study, which the dentists say is the only way to truly diagnose a patient’s needs and help them combat the condition.
Focusing on a wide range of procedures in general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry in New Jersey, Drs. Romano and Vaccaro say the addition of sleep apnea treatment allows the practice to meet a wider variety of patient needs by aiding in their pursuit of restful sleep and a healthier life. As more patients have been requesting relief for disrupted sleep, Dr. Romano says he is excited to offer diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea through various oral devices such as mouthguards or retainers, in conjunction with a thorough at-home sleep study. Dr. Vaccaro adds that the study can be covered by a patient’s medical insurance and help them avoid the need for an external sleep center. Both dentists agree that providing sleep apnea treatment in New Jersey is a significant step in their continued drive to provide patients with the most comprehensive care available.
Causing the muscles and soft tissues in the throat, mouth, and nasal passages to relax during sleep, sleep apnea reduces the amount of air that can travel through one’s airway. While snoring can be an identifiable symptom of sleep apnea, Dr. Romano also says there are a number of other symptoms that may go unnoticed, such as pauses in breathing for up to ten seconds. He adds that obstructive sleep apnea has been linked to a wide range of severe risks to one’s overall health including sudden cardiac death, high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, sexual dysfunction, and many others. Dr. Romano says the good news for his patients is that thanks to advanced devices such as mouthguards, retainers, and other oral therapies, modern dental technology has been able to fight the effects of this dangerous condition.
Because of the serious risks to one’s overall health that can develop from sleep apnea, Dr. Romano says consulting with an experienced and qualified dental professional is essential for ensuring proper treatment and care. He says he is thankful for the opportunity to provide his patients with the latest treatment in obstructive sleep disorders and hopes patients take advantage of the opportunity to improve the quality of their sleep as well as their daily lives. Additionally, Dr. Romano urges patients to always consult with a practice who provides personalized and individual treatment to patients so as to ensure the best results possible are achieved for each patient’s needs.

Cosmetic Dentist in New Jersey Discusses New Year Aesthetic Procedures
According to the latest American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) statistics, teeth whitening procedures have increased by 300% in the past five years and porcelain veneers by 250%. Drs. Edward Romano and Matthew Vaccaro, cosmetic dentists in New Jersey, say they only expect these numbers to rise with the coming of the new year. As patients prepare resolutions and commitments for the new year, Dr. Romano says dental enhancements offer an effective solution for improving one’s appearance and self-confidence with a fresh start.
The most recent report by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) states that over half of Americans are unsatisfied with their smile, causing a surge in cosmetic procedures in the past five years that includes porcelain veneers, which increased by 250%, and teeth whitening, which rose 300%. At his center for cosmetic dentistry in New Jersey, Dr. Edward Romano also says the upcoming new year typically brings an influx of popularity in cosmetic enhancements such as teeth whitening. He says many patients are looking to enhance their features and bring out their inner confidence and beauty through aesthetic treatment such as teeth whitening in New Jersey. “With the new year we always see an increase in aesthetic procedures. People make commitments to improve their health and appearance or just want to get a fresh start on the new year.”
Dr. Vaccaro, a cosmetic dentist at Aesthetic Smiles of New Jersey, also says the fresh start of a new year offers patients a chance to get their routine cleanings back on schedule. He says regular upkeep of dental hygiene can be a significant contributor to overall health as well as dental aesthetics. Through dental check-ups, Dr. Vaccaro says patients can achieve a brighter, stronger smile without the need for an additional procedure. “Check-ups are important because we can treat and diagnose problems when they are still small. Also, we can maintain a patient’s teeth so they are always in great shape.”
While he says routine cleanings should be a regular part of any person’s oral maintenance all year long, Dr. Romano also recommends aesthetic procedures such as porcelain veneers or Invisalign in New Jersey for patients who are looking to make more pronounced changes in their dental structure for the new year. Regardless of whether one chooses a cosmetic enhancement or a regular check-up, he says consulting with an experienced and qualified dentist is essential for achieving the proper results and a satisfactory smile. He adds that with the dynamic growth in dental techniques and technology, dentists need to stay at the forefront of the latest advancements in order to provide the highest quality patient comfort and care. “Patients should consider aesthetic procedures in the New Year because there has never been a better time in dentistry to create a beautiful long lasting smile. Dental materials are more beautiful and more natural every day.”

Cosmetic Dentists in New Jersey Discuss Rising Popularity of Smile Makeover Procedures
The latest study from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) reports that teeth whitening procedures have increased by 300% in the past five years, porcelain veneers by 250%, and direct bonding by 100%. With cosmetic dental procedures on the rise, Drs. Edward Romano and Matthew Vaccaro, New Jersey cosmetic dentists, say they expect to see a significant surge in popularity of smile makeovers during the holiday season. The dentists discuss the growing demand for smile makeovers as the holidays approach and how choosing the right practice for a procedure can help increase confidence and rejuvenate dental aesthetics.
At his New Jersey cosmetic dentistry practice, Drs. Edward Romano and Matthew Vaccaro say smile makeover procedures are becoming increasingly popular as the holidays start getting into full swing. Dr. Romano says smile makeovers, a comprehensive combination of multiple cosmetic dental procedures such as teeth whitening and porcelain veneers, have grown significantly in the past few years at his practice. According to the most recent statistics from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), teeth whitening procedures have increased by 300% since 2006 and porcelain veneers by 250%. A study by the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) also shows that teeth whitening (a $600 million industry in the U.S.) is now growing by 15-20% each year. Dr. Vaccaro says that as demand for individual procedures continues to rise, he expects smile makeovers will be a popular elective treatment during the holidays.
Often a combination of dental veneers, whitening, and Invisalign® treatments, Dr. Romano says a smile makeover offers patients the chance to completely customize their smile and add radiance and vitality to their appearance. Because the holiday season comes with social gatherings and gifts, he says patients often want to look their best while spreading goodwill with friends and family. Through gum recontouring or Invisalign in New Jersey, Dr. Vaccaro says patients can boast a confident smile at holiday parties or offer a loved one the gift of a brighter smile.
Regardless of whether patients are electing a comprehensive smile makeover or a single cosmetic enhancement, Dr. Romano suggests consulting an experienced and qualified dentist before undergoing any procedure. By ensuring that a practice has the proper training and credentials, patients can achieve the best results for their mouth and create a personalized dental plan to boost self-confidence and their overall outlook on life.
